Ministry of Health has today announced that the publicly funded influenza programmehas been extended to the 31st August 2016. The eligability criteria for a free influenza vaccine includes; pregnant women, those aged 65 years and over, those aged under 65 with a specified medical condition and children under 5 years who have been hospitilised for a respiratory illness, or who have a history of significant respiratory illnesses.
