Pip Oliver Practice Manager

I joined the practice in December 2018. I feel very lucky to be in the role of practice manager at Te Ngae Medical Centre . Prior to this role I worked for Primary Health Organisations supporting medical practices in Christchurch and then in the Rotorua area. The Te Ngae team are wonderful to work with and all have the patient’s wellbeing at the centre of everything they do. We are always looking for ways to improve, and so welcome any feedback. Outside of work, I enjoy walking my large dog, cycling, kayaking and can’t resist a good movie.

Te Ngae Medical Maureen
Kia Ora my name is Maureen I’m a Rotorua girl and I have had the absolute pleasure of meeting and greeting patients over the last 28 years as a front-line reception person. It has been a privilege to get to know many of you both professionally and personally, hence I am now greeting your grand children and in some cases your great grand children. I have also enjoyed working with Dr McMenamin since he started in General Practice back in the 1980’s and am humbled by the positive feedback many patients have shared with me over the years. Our fabulous new workplace has introduced a few new faces where the Te Ngae Medical staff aim to provide you with a friendly, efficient service. My big tick for the bucket list this year is to run at least one ten kilometre event this year.

I joined the team at Te Ngae Medical Centre in 2011. I have enjoyed my time in reception and administration but have recently started my training to become a Practice Assistant. I am excited to see this role develop as I enjoy helping the patients, GP’s and Nurses where ever I am able. Outside of Te Ngae Medical Centre I am busy looking after my family; my husband and two primary age girls. I enjoy walking for fitness, camping and spending time with family and friends. I especially enjoy supporting my girls in their activites.

After working at an urgent medical centre for about 12 years it was time for change, and in 2013, I joined the friendly Te Ngae crew. Te Ngae Medical Centre has a family feel to it and it does not take long to get to know the patients which I enjoy. The cakes, home made jams and chocolate are an extra bonus as well. Originally from Holland, I love the NZ life style and in our free time our family enjoy the outdoors, wake boarding, skiing, swimming, biking etc. I have three amazing children (I am biased of course); two daughters and a son who keep us on our toes. I also like to read a good book however that does not happen very often. I won’t say no to a lovely dinner out either.

Hi, I have worked as a part-time receptionist at TNMC since February 2014. Working in the health industry was a new experience for me, and I enjoy the many challenges it brings.

Having worked in a medical practice for the past 13 years, I  welcomed the opportunity to join the  friendly team at Te Ngae Medical Centre. My first impression of the centre was the wonderful feature wall of the Redwoods. Gives a very calming feeling to the centre. Married with 2 grown up children both of whom reside in Australia. Great excuse for trips over the ditch. I enjoy biking, fishing (was water ski ing a few years ago) travelling and spending time with family and friends.

I joined the admin team early 2018. While this role in the health industry is completely new to me I am enjoying being part of the friendly team at Te Ngae Medical Centre. Having lived in the East side for many years it is a real bonus for me to walk to work each day.
I am married with 3 children and outside of work hours enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, walking and Mountain biking.
